Some of us wear perfume every single day, and we never realize that we're wearing it wrong. That's why Her Campus has some important information that you should read. Here are a few tips on wearing perfume the right way, so that the scent lasts longer on your skin:
1 Don't Rub Your Wrists Together
Pat your wrists together instead, so that you don't damage the scent.
2 Apply It before You Get Changed
Don't spray it on your clothes. Spray it on your body and throat to make the scent last.
lalagirlgobama Why would you buy different perfumes for your mood
msflower I mos def agree with sampling first before buying. Bring a tester bottle with you and see how your body reacts to it. I've collected over 100 perfumes and 40% of them don't last that long (more than 6 hours).
Amorie Umm... you can't damage a scent by rubbing your wrists together.
Gozde Some says apply Vaseline before you apply the perfume so that the scent lasts longer (in scale of hours or maybe a day )
Parvathy Why don't perfume makers sell their expensive perfumes in smaller bottles? They would not denature and lose their scent. We would be tempted to buy more because the price would be lower. My daughter and I exchange bottles when half the bottle is used.
Chanel Never spray perfume on your jewelry; for instance on your necklace. I heard that the accessory losses its shine.
PearlÑ Really useful 👌

Courtney That was an interesting tip about rubbing your wrists together. I always do that, but I will try patting them together next time to see how that works too.
