1. GAP Dream & Heaven
This was the perfume you wore when you were working that preppy vibe. It somehow complimented your Delia's tops and your Abercrombie & Fitch shorts.
2. Elizabeth Arden Sunflowers
Sunflowers was the go-to perfume for girls who wanted to give off a bright, nature-loving, sunshine kind of vibe. Unfortunately, you usually just ended up smelling like a vat full of sunflowers.
Frequently asked questions
3. The Body Shop White Musk
Oh, I miss this, I admit it. White musk scents are always so soft and pretty.
4. Tommy Girl
Tommy Girl was kind of like Dream & Heaven, in that – in my high school, at least – the popular, preppy girls were always mad for it.
5. Vanilla Fields
I admit, I hated this perfume. I still hate it. To be fair, however, it's only because a girl I despised wore it all the time. You hear that, Cassie? I still hate you.

6. Estee Lauder Pleasures
This is what you wore when you wanted to feel oh so grown up and sophisticated. It always worked.
7. Bath & Body Works Country Apple
Oh, god, Country Apple smelled so delicious. I mean, it kind of made a better air freshener than a perfume, but still.
8. Tommy Hilfiger Freedom
Freedom always made you think about the end of school. It managed to smell like late spring and early summer.
9. Gucci Rush
Anything Gucci was reserved for special occasions – prom, Homecoming, graduation. You didn't waste this stuff.
10. Clinique Happy
Tell me this didn't smell like youth in a bottle.
11. The SPICE GIRLS IMPULSE BODY SPRAY
Everyone was mad for this, but I thought it smelled terrible. Still, Spice Girls!
Everyone was mad for this, but I thought it smelled terrible. Still, Spice Girls! In the '90s, it was more about the status of having it than the actual scent. The body spray epitomized girl power, colorful outfits, and weekend sleepovers. Every mall had a corner dedicated to it, and it was almost a rite of passage to own. The packaging alone was a collector's item, adorned with the iconic faces of Baby, Sporty, Scary, Ginger, and Posh. Even if the fragrance wasn't your cup of tea, it instantly transported you back to the days of platform shoes and pop anthems.
12. Coty EXCLAMATION
My BFF wore this. I can never smell it without thinking of her.
13. LOVE'S BABY SOFT
Love's Baby Soft was THE perfume of the '90s, practically. It was also like My First Perfume because it was the only one your parents would let you wear at first. Remember when Love's came out with a whole line of these?
14. CK One
I still have a bottle of this hanging around somewhere. It's so old it probably doesn't even smell like One anymore, though.
15. LANCOME POEME
True facts, I bought this for the name. Back when I still wore perfume, that is.
16. DAVIDOFF COOL WATER for WOMEN
This is the one perfume that I still adore – it's so bright and fresh!
17. CANDIE'S for HER
Candie's was the shit in the '90s and early 2000s. Not only were the perfumes and colognes delicious, but the shoes, man, the shoes!
So, did you wear any of these? Miss any of them?
